Glenn FREAKIN Howerton Joins The Show
Plus New work for Uber Teens from Mother and the LEGEND Linda Boff
Goooooooooood afternoon advertising!
What a show. We had Dennis from Always Sunny in Philadelphia aka Glenn Howerton, two beast creatives from Mother, Linda Boff, CEO, Said Differently & President of CMO Network, Forbes, and Antoni Porowski, Actor. What a lineup
Anyway. We kicked of the show with Jack’s experience at the Bumble influencer party from last night. So up his alley.
Then, the green screen made its return and Jack jumped into the data. This time, it was all about Labubus! The statistics, brought to you by Trackstuit, are surpising to say the least.
Antoni Porowski returns for his weekly segment. This time, it was all about alcohol. We’ve been seeing a decrease in alcohol sales in the U.S. and Antoni broke down what that means for alcohol brands and what it means for emerging non-alcoholic brands.
Then, Tremayne Gary and Sollin Saele, Creatives at Mother joined the show to talk about their recent campaign for Uber Teens. The cheeky campaign is another Mother classic and the duo shared some hilarious on set moments and updated us on the state of teens. Hint: They are still very judgey, some things never change.
And then. THE Glenn Howerton, one of the funniest people on the planet joined the show. Him and the Always Sunny cast launched a Whiskey brand called Four Walls. The whole goal of the campaign is to get people off their phones and hang out with their friends (and maybe have a drink while they’re at it). It was a hilarious yet insightful interview. Glenn talked about his writing process for the show and how that applied to this campaign. Plus, he dropped some awesome Always Sunny lore. This is a once in a lifetime interview you gotta check it out.
Finally, ad legend Linda Boff, CEO of Said Differently & President of CMO Network, Forbes rounded out this week. Coming off multiple decades at GE, her agency Said Differently works in a really unique freelance model. She has perspective from the brand side and is applying this to an agency model. Geno also hosted a great game where he asked Linda about some current industry trends and whether or not they’ll stick around.
Thanks so much for another amazing week. None of this is possible without your help and support. We appreciate you all so much! Have an amazing rest of your week and we will see you next Tuesday at 12 PM ET! Later!!!
