Today’s show kicked off with Geno discussing his new podcast rebrand. He got people talking on LinkedIn thinking that he was retiring from the game, only to drop that it was all part of his big rebrand.

Then, Jack and Geno looked at TBWA’s rebrand. They are leaning into a very ‘human-first’ identity, with their new branding reflecting that. Stay tuned on this story, as we will be bringing on a guest to talk about it tomorrow.

In the World Famous 2 Minute Drill, we looked at the billboard ‘arms race’ taking place between San Fransisco AI companies. A designer who lost his opportunity to work with A$AP Rocky by posting a private DM. Gap’s new employee creator program, where employees can apply to become influencers for the brand. OpenAI’s influencer trip, and the subsequent backlash. And finally, Rushtock, which is the trend of sororities posting on TikTok for recruiting, and how it might lead to some unexpected brand deals.

Hannah Wilson | Global Creator & Co-Founder, CULTISH was the first guest on the show and spoke about her shameless, energetic approach to content creation, and how that authenticity leads to stronger brand deals, and a better ROI for brands.

Jim Curtis | CCO, LePub NY was next to break down their new campaign for Heineken 0.0. They rewarded tennis super fans by allowing anyone with an old ticket to see Serena Williams to get an exclusive pass to the upcoming U.S. Open. Curtis explained, more people hanging out = more people drinking beer = more business.

Finally, the legend Kristen Cavallo came on to explain their “One Idea” pitch that led them to the Subway account win. Cavallo is back at MARTIN*, who are on a run with 5 new wins this year. She explained the agencies approach to the Subway pitch, as well as how they continue to convert new business in the ever changing market.
