MEGA STREAM THURSDAY!!!! Hope everyone is having a good week, the weather has been a bit spotty here in NYC, so it’s a perfect time to chill inside and watch some advertising news!

We kicked the stream off with the Zambezi crew, Jean Freeman | Principal & CEO, Zambezi and Laura Stayt | Partner & President. The team won Ad Age Small Agency of the Year, Silver. They came on to talk about their incredible 42% revenue growth, and how some unlikely client approaches has pushed them to success.

Then, we fired up the old two minute drill. We started with Corgi Cafe. Originally founded as an AI Insurance company where employees work 7 days a week, they have recently been opening 24/7 cafes with some mixed reviews. Then, we got to Adidas. They saw an 18% drop after it was revealed the World Cup Marketing bill was massive. However, the boys are bullish on the stock, saying the investment is worth it long term. Note: Jack and Geno are not licensed in anyway to give financial advice and probably the last two people you should listen to. Anyway, we wrapped it up by looking at Omnicom’s earnings, which unlike Adidas, has seen a soaring revenue increase through Q2.

Jack jumped in front of the green screen to break down a Kyle Cooke, reality TV star, partnership with Yahoo. It was a weather boy inception moment with a double chroma key.

Tracksuit, the exclusive data partner of Breaking & Entering brought some statistics about American Eagle vs. Gap, and honestly, the numbers were not what we expected.

Antoni Porowski returned (from a sail boat in Maine) to break down his experience on the Instacart shoot and revealed that more is coming!

Then, we were honored to have David Angelo, Founder of David&Goliath, who were just named AOR of 9/11 Day. He spoke about how the campaign is something truly important to him, as he had just moved to New York in 2001. They are taking an approach that focuses on the celebration of human compassion, and framing the it as a day that pushes people to do good, while remembering the lives lost.

Finally Justin Smith aka J Smooth, VP Creative Director and Sam Bonds, SVP Group Creative Director from BarkleyOKRP came doublebibbed up to talk about their recent campaign with Red Lobster. It was pretty much complete madness with both parties being in their double bib attire. But, we got some great scoops about why and how they come up with these kinds of inventions.

Thank you all for another great week! If you missed the show check it out above, and we will see you next week. Maybe at 12pm? If you can, reach out and let us know what time would be best for you to be able to tune into the show!
